The separating belt is driven via the drive pulley directly by an air-cooled motor. When the door of the unit is opened, the drive is switched off by a magnetic switch without overtravel time. The operator is protected by a splash guard without obstructing his view. All external machine parts, including the separating belt, are made of stainless steel.

The divider band tensioning device allows quick exchange of the divider bands as well as relaxation during longer breaks in work. The adjusting device on the impeller allows changes in the circulation of the separating belt correct quickly and easily. The impellers are equipped with special flat belts to increase the smoothness of running and to protect the separating belt and impellers. Flat belts are consumables and must be replaced when worn.

This stationary cutting-off machine with fixed worktable is specially designed for the preparation of tissue, bone and composite materials are designed for histological evaluation and are therefore restricted exclusively for this use.

A diamond coated, high-precision cutting belt is used for cut-off grinding.The device works according to the principle of thin sectioning technology.
The fixed tub table is equipped with two insert plates. The tub has a separate drain. Normal tap water is supplied to the unit for cooling and rinsing. The connection is made to any tap and is possible without pressure reducer. In addition, the supply of water through a 1.5l watertank is possible. The speed control provides additional smoothness, safety when starting the machine and a more stable cutting technique.

The device does not clean itself, but cleaning is easy! To facilitate the drainage of the water, two stainless steel insert plates with perforated holes are placed in the collecting tray. The insert plates are intended for cleaning in the dishwasher.
