Downsize and Lighten Your System: NV/NVL Series

We would like to introduce the smallest valve in Takasago’s lineup, the“NV/NLV series”. Takasago’s smallest diaphragm valves are so valuable that they are used in protein analysis equipment and even in space experiments where miniaturization in system size and weight reduction is very important. In addition to the conventional small-sized valve with ON/OFF states (NV series), we also offer a latch-type valve (NLV series) in which the open or close state can be maintained even without the power supply.

Diaphragm Valve – NV Series [2-way NC / Orifice: 0.4 mm]

  • Outer dimensions: Dia. 5.7 x H27 mm (pipe type: H32.5)
  • Highly chemically inert diaphragm valve
    PEEK and FFKM are used for wetted materials. Materials can be
    changed according to your requirements.
  • Internal volume only 1.2 μl (pipe type: 4.3μl)
    The internal volume of the valve chamber, which can be a dead volume,
    comprises only 0.75 μl of the internal volume of the valve.
  • Latching solenoid valve (NLV)
    The open/closed status of the valve is maintained by permanent magnetic force,
    contributing to energy saving and lower heat generation. Power is required only while changing the status (Open to Closed, Closed to Open). It is necessary to reverse current polarity to change the status.

Diaphragm Valve – NLV Series [PPS Body / 2-way / Orifice: 0.4 mm]

  • Outer dimensions: Dia. 5.7 x H27 mm (pipe type: H32.5)
  • Highly chemically inert diaphragm valve
    PEEK and FFKM are used for wetted materials. Materials can be
    changed according to your requirements.
  • Internal volume only 4.3 μL. The internal volume of the valve chamber, which could potentially be a dead volume, comprises only 0.75 μL of this.
  • Latching solenoid valve
    This micro valve is a latching solenoid valve and the open/closed status of this valve is maintained by a permanent magnetic force, using this contributes to energy saving and lower heat generation.
