We would like to introduce to you a glimpse of Takasago’s pinch valve lineup and unique design options. Pinch valves have been in use for biochemical analyzers and food production lines. Takasago’s pinch valve lineup supports a wide range of usage and can be customized based on customer requirements.

PE Series

The PE series is the most miniature pinch valve in Takasago’s product range, with an actuator of 14 mm in diameter. This pinch valve has a lineup of N.C. (Normally Closed) type, N.O. (Normally Open) type, and dual type (both N.C. and N.O.).

 

  • Tubing ID: 0.8 mm
  • Tubing OD: 2.4 mm
  • Tubing Material: Silicone
  • Dimensions: 21 x 26 x 55.1 mm

PSK Series

The PSK series is the Pinch Valve – PS Series with the tube holding feature. There are three types, which are the N.C. (Normally Closed), N.O. (Normally Open) and Dual which has both an N.O. and N.C. side that are simultaneously operated.

 

  • Tubing ID: 0.8 ~ 1.6 mm
  • Tubing OD: 2.4 ~ 3.2 mm
  • Tubing Material: Silicone or Pharmed®
  • Dimensions: 26 x 39.2 x 49.5 mm

PMK Series

This PMK series is a Pinch Valve – PM Series with the tube holding feature.

 

  • Tubing ID: 0.8 ~ 1.0 mm
  • Tubing OD: 2.4 ~ 3.0 mm
  • Tubing Material: Silicone, Pharmed® or Tygon®
  • Dimensions: 26 x 40 x 60 mm

PL Series

This is a solenoid pinch valve with an open-framed actuator. This valve has the options of I.D. of 0.8 to 6.0 mm and O.D. of 2.4 or 8.0 mm.

 

  • Tubing ID: 0.8 ~ 6.0 mm
  • Tubing OD: 2.4 ~ 8.0 mm
  • Tubing Material: Silicone
  • Dimensions: W39.2-40 x L26-36 x H54.4-88.5 mm

PK Series

The PK series is a standard pinch valve for medium diameter silicone tubing (Inner diameter is around 3 – 6 mm). This has a lineup of N.C. (Normally Closed) types and N.O. (Normally Open) types.

 

  • Tubing ID: 1.6 ~ 6.4 mm
  • Tubing OD: 4.8 ~9.6 mm
  • Tubing Material: Silicone
  • Dimensions: 36 x 40 x 65 – 88.3 mm

EPK Series

This EPK series is a standard pinch valve for large diameter tubings of 10 – 15 mm. This has a lineup of N.C. (Normally Closed) types and N.O. (Normally Open) types.

  • Tubing OD: 13.0 ~19.0 mm
  • Tubing Material: Silicone

PS Series

This PS series is a standard miniature pinch valve for small diameter tubing. There are three types: N.C. (Normally Closed), N.O. (Normally Open), and Dual, which has both an N.O. and N.C. side that operates simultaneously.

  • Tubing OD: 2.4 ~ 3.2 mm
  • Tubing Material: Silicone or Pharmed®
  • Dimensions: 26 x 39.2 x 49.5 mm

PM Series

The PM series is a solenoid pinch valve which supports a wide range of tubing materials such as silicone, PharMed®, and Tygon®. This pinch valve can be freely used as an NC/NO type with a single tube or as a Dual type with two tubes. It can also be configured as a 3-way valve by using a Y-shaped fitting.

 

  • Tubing ID: 0.8 ~ 1.6 mm
  • Tubing OD: 2.4 ~ 3.2 mm
  • Tubing Material: Silicone, Pharmed® or Tygon®
  • Dimensions: 26 x 40 x 60 mm

PL Series

The PL series is a pinch valve adopting a latching solenoid, which maintains the valve open or closed state through the utilization of a permanent magnet. It contributes to low power consumption, because electricity is consumed only when energized.

  • Tubing OD: 2.4 ~ 4.0 mm
  • Tubing Material: Silicone
  • Dimensions: 30.4 x 30.4 x 61.7 mm

PWK Series

This is the PWK series, it is a PW series solenoid pinch valve with the tube holding feature. The actuator is open-framed and used for silicone tubing of I.D. 1.6 mm.

NP Series

The NP series is a solenoid pinch valve and an improved model of the Pinch Valve – PK Series. There is a slit in the tube holder which allows the ability to insert tubing from the side of the pinch valve so that it is easy to use.

  • Tubing OD: 4.0 ~9.6 mm
  • Tubing Material: Silicone
  • Dimensions: 36 x 40 x 64.5 – 87.5 mm

EL Series

The EL series is a solenoid pinch valve, which is an equivalent model to the Pinch Valve – EPK Series (for the large diameter tubings), but with the latching mechanism. It contributes to low power consumption, because electricity is consumed only when energized.

  • Tubing OD: 13.0 ~19.0 mm
  • Tubing Material: Silicone
